I thought that the artist that created the slideshow used very creative examples that were found all over his everyday life.  It felt like he took time to find these exact elements and principles.  Some of the pictures in his slideshow did she several different elements and thems.

The second project we did not pick any of the same images, however the reasons that we felt like we could relate were similar.  The person whoese blog I picked felt like that could relate to a sculpture of a mother and a child based on her own personal expeirence with her children.  I agreed on how the artist is able to form a speacial bond between themselves and the veiwer.

The sculpture of the mother and child really interests me.  I would like to know the background of the sculture because I to feel like I can relate with my own children in that way.  I would like to know what the mother is feeling in this particular artwork.

One of the reoccuring themes in this course is that art is based on interpretation.  I think it was a great idea to veiw our peers thoughts on certain artworks.  Some of the opinions they have are not something that I would consider sometimes.  I find it interesting for them to break down how and why they feel the way they do about a certain artwork.  I think it is helpful for my learning expeirence to open up my eyes to other peoples thoughts and opinions.  By people critiqing my responses it allows me to see where they come from and to show how several poeple can look at the same artwork and have radical interpretations based on their personal background.
